How to Measure

Chest

Button or zip up your jacket and lay it flat on a hard surface. Measure across the chest area of the jacket about an inch down from the underarm seam, and double that for the full chest measurement.

Shoulder

Measure straight across the back of the jacket, from one shoulder seam to the other.

Sleeve Length

Measure from the top of the shoulder seam to the end of the cuff. Next, measure from the center back of the neck seam to the shoulder seam. Add these two values to get your sleeve measurements.

Length

Measure straight down the back of the jacket, from the center of the neck seam to the bottom of the hem.

How to Measure

Chest

Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape parallel to the floor. The tape should be snug, but not too tight.

Arm

With your arm bent slightly, measure from the base of the center back of your neck, along your shoulder, then over your elbow to your wrist bone.

We’ve developed some amazing denims in partnership with some amazing mills over the years, but we’ll always have a soft spot for Cone Mills. The legendary North Carolina mill may no longer be in operation, but it’ll always be an important chapter in the Taylor Stitch story, and we were ecstatic when we recently discovered a trove of deadstock selvage denim straight from the source and ripe for the cuttin’. The Long Haul Jacket in Cone Mills Reserve is one piece of history that’s far too handsome for a museum—get out there and make it your own.

Upon its closure in 2017, Cone Mills left some mighty big shoes to fill—after all, they were industry leaders and the last of their kind operating in the US—and their hard-won reputation for superior quality is on full display in the latest iteration of The Long Haul Jacket. This 100% cotton selvage denim weighs in at 13 ounces—substantial without slowing you down—and will break in and fade beautifully as you put it through its paces. Per tradition, we’ve included our signature Long Haul detailing: custom SF map print pocketing, zig zag reinforcements, and custom YKK hardware.
