About Us
We are a small and independent shirt maker based out of San Francisco. Recently, we opened our newest store, The Common. It is located at 383 Valencia Street between 14th and 15th Streets in the Mission District.
All of our ready-to-wear shirts are designed, patterned, cut and sewn in California. Our custom tailored shirts are made in Newark, New Jersey by a third generation family business that has over 85 years of custom shirt making experience.
We have put three years worth of thought and experience into every shirt we make. All of our shirts are produced with the highest quality components available: our interlinings are woven in Massachusetts, our thread is spun and dyed domestically, and our buttons are from nuts grown in the Amazon and produced in Panama. All of our fabrics come from top mills in Japan and Europe.
We promise never to chase trends, but to modernize the timeless staples of dress. By creating a classic shirt with impeccable craftsmanship, we are not just offering a shirt but a wardrobe staple worth investing in.
