How to Measure

Chest
Button up the shirt and lay it flat on a hard surface. Measure across the chest area of the shirt about an inch down from the underarm seam, and double that for the full chest measurement.

Neck
Spread out and flatten the collar, and measure the circumference from the center of the top button to the edge of the buttonhole.

Shoulder
Measure straight across the back of the shirt, from one shoulder seam to the other.

Sleeve Length
Measure from the top of the shoulder seam to the end of the cuff. Next, measure from the center back of the neck seam to the shoulder seam. Add these two values to get your sleeve measurements.

Length
Measure straight down the back of the shirt, from the center of the neck seam to the bottom of the shirt’s hem.

Chest
Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape parallel to the floor. The tape should be snug, but not too tight.

Arm
With your arm bent slightly, measure from the base of the center back of your neck, along your shoulder, then over your elbow to your wrist bone.

The California is crafted from 3.5-oz organic cotton for a lightweight feel that’s sturdy enough for year round wear. Conventional cotton production is to blame for about 25% of the world's pesticide usage, but our 100% organic stuff doesn’t use a drop. Not to mention what it saves on water. Finished with our signature California collar, a measured hem that looks great tucked or untucked, and a single rounded chest pocket.
