Waist
Button your pants if applicable and lay it flat. Measure edge to edge along the back waistband, with the waist pulled flat but not stretched. Then, multiply this number by two.

Rise
Measure from the crotch seam straight up to the middle of the front waistband.

Thigh
Measure straight across the leg about an inch down from the crotch.

Knee
Measure 13” from the crotch seam. From there, measure straight across to get the knee measurement

Leg Opening
Measure from one side of the leg opening to the other.

Waist
Wrap a measuring tape around the narrowest part of your waist, typically an inch above your belly button. The tape should be snug, but still sit comfortably around your waist.

Description
Making a solid pair of jeans is all about keeping it simple and doing things the right way, not the easy way. For our Democratic Jean in Mid Wash Organic Selvedge, we did just that. Modeled after a real pair of vintage TS jeans from our warehouse, this pair has been meticulously washed for a worn-in look and feel fresh from the box. We finished them off with our signature map print pocketing and a leather back patch for some added visual appeal.
Material
Selvedge denim is an art form in and of itself, and it’s spawned a whole subculture full of denim enthusiasts who wouldn’t dream of wearing anything less. We kicked it up another notch by using only 100% organic cotton; it’s just as tough and versatile as the conventional stuff, but a whole lot gentler on the environment. Cuff em’ with pride, these are the cream of the crop.
