Waist
Button your pants if applicable and lay it flat. Measure edge to edge along the back waistband, with the waist pulled flat but not stretched. Then, multiply this number by two.

Rise
Measure from the crotch seam straight up to the middle of the front waistband.

Thigh
Measure straight across the leg about an inch down from the crotch.

Knee
Measure 13” from the crotch seam. From there, measure straight across to get the knee measurement

Measure from one side of the leg opening to the other.

Waist
Wrap a measuring tape around the narrowest part of your waist, typically an inch above your belly button. The tape should be snug, but still sit comfortably around your waist.

Our Après Short is a longstanding summer staple around here, but with the introduction of this 100% hemp iteration, our lightweight legend has never been sturdier or more Responsible. We’ve designed The Après Short to be the perfect warm weather all-rounder. With four handy pockets, a functional button fly, and our signature SF map print pocketing, they stand a solid leg above most casual shorts, and they’ll only get softer with each season of wear.
Material
It’s no secret that we’ve fallen for hemp lately, and for good reason. This humble crop uses a fraction of the water of conventional textiles (often relying solely on the rain), is four times stronger than cotton, and actively absorbs CO2 from the atmosphere, making it a carbon-negative resource. As if that wasn’t enough, it’s odor-repellent and naturally blocks out UV rays. We could go on, but we think once you slip into the Après Short, you’ll agree—this stuff speaks for itself.
