Waist
Button your pants if applicable and lay it flat. Measure edge to edge along the back waistband, with the waist pulled flat but not stretched. Then, multiply this number by two.

Rise
Measure from the crotch seam straight up to the middle of the front waistband.

Thigh
Measure straight across the leg about an inch down from the crotch.

Knee
Measure 13” from the crotch seam. From there, measure straight across to get the knee measurement

Leg Opening
Measure from one side of the leg opening to the other.

Waist
Wrap a measuring tape around the narrowest part of your waist, typically an inch above your belly button. The tape should be snug, but still sit comfortably around your waist.

As far as we’re concerned, few things are more rewarding than breaking in a pair of raw, rugged denim jeans. All the same, even we can admit that sometimes it’s nice to have a more forgiving option on hand. Enter our brand new stretch selvage. These look just as stellar as our other jeans, but include a touch of stretch for added mobility and comfort. You’ll barely feel it, but you’ll be glad when you do.
Material
We cooked up a special blend of organic cotton, polyester, and a hit of lycra to form our latest selvage. The lighter weight of this denim works in tandem with the included stretch to make these the perfect everyday jeans no matter what activity the day may have in store. The same Democratic fit, the same unparalleled construction.
