How to Measure

Chest
Button or zip up your jacket and lay it flat on a hard surface. Measure across the chest area of the jacket about an inch down from the underarm seam, and double that for the full chest measurement.

Shoulder
Measure straight across the back of the jacket, from one shoulder seam to the other.

Sleeve Length
Measure from the top of the shoulder seam to the end of the cuff. Next, measure from the center back of the neck seam to the shoulder seam. Add these two values to get your sleeve measurements.

Length
Measure straight down the back of the jacket, from the center of the neck seam to the bottom of the hem.

Chest
Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape parallel to the floor. The tape should be snug, but not too tight.

Arm
With your arm bent slightly, measure from the base of the center back of your neck, along your shoulder, then over your elbow to your wrist bone.

The Utility Shirt has always been one of our beefiest offerings thanks to its ultra rugged construction, but this time around we’re taking it a step further with a cozy quilted lining built with recycled nylon and insulated with recycled polyester. It’s the quintessential work shirt—straightforward, sturdy, and sharp—reimagined to tackle your to-do list no matter how low the temperature dips. We even added hand-warmer pockets at the side seams—frozen hands are idle hands, after all.
Material
This 8-oz organic cotton twill is soft and substantial, and to give this insulated iteration of The Utility Shirt a bit more heft we’ve equipped it with a quilted lining made with Responsible materials. Despite its heavy-duty hand feel, the same features that made the original Utility Shirt an essential part of our toolkit return, including our signature California collar and handy button-through chest pockets to stow necessities.
