How to Measure

  • 1

    Chest

Button or zip up your jacket and lay it flat on a hard surface. Measure across the chest area of the jacket about an inch down from the underarm seam, and double that for the full chest measurement.

  • 2

    Shoulder

Measure straight across the back of the jacket, from one shoulder seam to the other.

  • 3

    Sleeve Length

Measure from the top of the shoulder seam to the end of the cuff. Next, measure from the center back of the neck seam to the shoulder seam. Add these two values to get your sleeve measurements.

  • 4

    Length

Measure straight down the back of the jacket, from the center of the neck seam to the bottom of the hem.

The Cuyama Jacket is modeled after one of our lead designer Nick Kemp's luckiest secondhand shop finds (believe it or not, he has an eye for vintage menswear). You know you can count on meticulous craftsmanship and some exceptional materials (just look at that leather) but it's the Cuyama's idiosyncrasies that really set it apart. Cellar door-style side-entry pockets, distinctive corduroy detailing throughout, and gorgeous corozo buttons give this jacket some completely unique character. We propose a toast—to keeping our eyes on the future without losing sight of the past.

This gorgeous 4-oz cowhide leather features a spectacular pull-up that will emerge over time. Like a glass of fine cognac, it's at its best only after it's had a chance to mature. Cotton twill lining through the torso gives The Cuyama Jacket extra heft, while beautiful natural horn corozo buttons and wide wale corduroy collar detailing imbue this timeless garment with some one-of-a-kind visual impact.

  • 4-oz. Cowhide leather.
  • Buttery soft Cognac leather.
  • Cotton twill lining in body with acetate sleeve lining.
  • Wide wale corduroy detailing on under collar, inside pocket flaps and inside cuffs.
  • 3" collar with hidden collar stay snaps.
  • Two reinforced double welted side entry pockets with pockets flaps and hidden snaps.
  • Interior leather trimmed chest welt pocket.
  • Dark horn natural corozo buttons, back with white natural corozo buttons for reinforcement.
  • Dry clean only by leather professionals.
  • Made in Turkey.

This’ll keep you warm all winter long.
