Waist
Lay your shorts flat and button if applicable. Measure along the center of the waistband from edge to edge, with the waist pulled flat but not stretched. Then, multiply this number by two.

Rise
Measure from the crotch seam straight up to the top of the front waistband.

Thigh
Measure straight across the leg about an inch down from the crotch. Then, multiply this number by two.

Leg Opening
Measure from one side of the leg opening to the other. Then, multiply this number by two.

Inseam
Measure from the crotch seam to the bottom of the shorts hem along the inseam.

Waist
Wrap a measuring tape around the narrowest part of your waist, typically an inch above your belly button. The tape should be snug, but still sit comfortably around your waist.

Material
This iteration of Après Short comes in a thoughtfully textured, almost psychedelic, organic cotton indigo slub. It’s a plain weave fabric (like canvas), so it breathes well and doesn’t cling to the skin when it gets hot out. Organic cotton uses a fraction of the water and energy resources of the conventionally grown stuff, and doesn’t pollute waterways and ecosystems.
