How to Measure

  • 1

    Chest

    Button or zip up your jacket and lay it flat on a hard surface. Measure across the chest area of the jacket about an inch down from the underarm seam, and double that for the full chest measurement.

  • 2

    Shoulder

    Measure straight across the back of the jacket, from one shoulder seam to the other.

  • 3

    Sleeve Length

    Measure from the top of the shoulder seam to the end of the cuff. Next, measure from the center back of the neck seam to the shoulder seam. Add these two values to get your sleeve measurements.

  • 4

    Length

    Measure straight down the back of the jacket, from the center of the neck seam to the bottom of the hem.

    Chest

    Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape parallel to the floor. The tape should be snug, but not too tight.

  • 2

    Arm

    With your arm bent slightly, measure from the base of the center back of your neck, along your shoulder, then over your elbow to your wrist bone.

It’s built to be an everyday garment that accompanies you on everyday adventures, big and small. After a brief absence, this Taylor Stitch mainstay is back in a remarkably elegant birdseye wool. As has become Rover tradition, it’s been waxed for weather resistance, this time in collaboration with industry leaders Halley Stevensons in Scotland. One for the rover in all of us.

Few can claim to have a broader understanding of wool than the folks at the Abraham Moon Mill, which has been operating in Guiseley, Leeds since 1837 (for those keeping track, that’s when Queen Victoria ascended the throne). In the intervening years, they’ve established themselves as one of the most widely respected manufacturers of fine wool fabrics on the planet. 100% Moon Wool, treated by the weatherproofing experts at Halley Stevensons, serves as the foundation of this UK-made jacket, while 10oz British black moleskin lining grants extra insulation and matte black grommet vents at the armpits allow air to flow.
