How to Measure

  • 1

    Chest

Button or zip up your jacket and lay it flat on a hard surface. Measure across the chest area of the jacket about an inch down from the underarm seam, and double that for the full chest measurement.

  • 2

    Shoulder

Measure straight across the back of the jacket, from one shoulder seam to the other.

  • 3

    Sleeve Length

Measure from the top of the shoulder seam to the end of the cuff. Next, measure from the center back of the neck seam to the shoulder seam. Add these two values to get your sleeve measurements.

  • 4

    Length

Measure straight down the back of the jacket, from the center of the neck seam to the bottom of the hem.

The Vertical Jacket is warm—really warm. Thanks to the custom developed recycled polyester filling, this jacket is perfect as a stand-alone cold weather barrier yet also tailored to sit under our outerwear and create the ultimate fortress for when that sou'easter starts howling.

Rugged, resilient, and overbuilt—this is the last insulated jacket you will ever need. We chose to construct the Vertical Jacket from a burly, water-repellant 4-oz. nylon fabric and recycled synthetic down filling because we were tired of seeing our friend's puffers failing after less than a year in rotation. At just over twice the fabric weight of the industry norm, we set out to build an insulation layer to withstand a decade or more of wear rather than break the next Eiger speed record.

  • 4-oz. 100% Nylon.
  • Brushed tricot on inside of neck and pocket bags.
