Nestled among the woodlands of Washington state, The Canyon Creek Cabins are just a quick ride from Seattle, but they feel a million miles (and a hundred years) removed.
Imbued with a rich history, these cabins were originally constructed in the 1970s as a haven for fishermen and adventurers. Their enduring charm, akin to the towering trees that envelop them, stands as a testament to their resilience. Stepping into our cabin, we were enveloped by the comforting scents of seasoned wood and crackling fire, instantly transporting us from the nearby city’s hustle and bustle.
The solid walls of our asymmetrical A-frame structure, crafted from locally sourced timber, blend as seamlessly into the forest as the creek that winds through the property.
This place is a living testament to the unspoiled grandeur of the Pacific Northwest, adorned with moss-covered rocks and trails lined with ferns. Throughout, the gentle murmur of the creek provides a serene soundtrack to days of exploration and moments of quiet contemplation.
Canyon Creek Cabins gave us a much-needed opportunity to reconnect with nature. The tranquility of the woods and the rustic charm of the cabins serve as a reminder that sometimes the most rewarding getaways are those that take us back to simpler times – places where history intertwines with nature and artistry to cut through our modern day-to-day and get at something eternal.
